Supply Chain Manager/Buyer

We're a fast-growing startup that builds a robot for use in offices and schools. We manufacture our products in-house, and we're looking to bring on a full-time Supply Chain Manager to make sure all of our parts arrive on time. We have over 100 different parts and 60 suppliers to manage. An ideal candidate for this role is someone who can understand our production goals, then issue PO's, monitor inventory levels, and follow up with vendors to meet those goals without overspending on excess inventory.

Job Duties:
  • Communicate with vendors to arrange manufacturing and delivery of parts (50% in China, 50% domestic)
  • Issue Purchase Orders with scheduled release dates
  • Communicate with freight forwarders to arrange pickup and delivery of overseas parts
  • Understand weekly and monthly production goals given by management
  • Use ERP system to analyze current inventory levels and forecast
  • Work with vendors to establish credit terms and negotiate lower pricing
Skills Required:
  • Excellent communication skills (English).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement to determine appropriate quantities to order.
  • Experience using supply chain / ERP software on a daily basis
  • Basic understanding of invoicing and accounting processes
Also Desired:
  • Fluent in Mandarin
  • Experience with supply chain management of similar products
  • Understanding of importing and US Customs (commercial invoices, tariff codes, etc)

Inside Sales

Double Robotics is looking to hire an Inside Sales rep. Responsibilities include answering inbound sales emails and phone calls, following up with existing customers, demonstrating our products to potential customers, and occasionally attending events and trade shows. While talking to enterprise-level customers on a daily basis, the candidate must be professional, organized and able to represent our company and products in the right way. As the first point of contact our customers might have with Double, a potential candidate for this role must also be well-spoken, patient, and friendly. Formal degrees are optional. Previous experience in a similar position selling SaaS or hardware to enterprise and education customers is a strong plus.

Distribution Sales Coordinator, Asia-Pacific Region

QC Specialist/Technician

Tests and verifies that product meets quality control standards.

Job Duties:
  • Inspect finished goods for cosmetic and functionality issues.
  • Calibrate and test finished products, while occasionally completing basic rework.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality control paperwork.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Basic mechanical disassembly and assembly.
  • First article inspection: inspect and test components received from vendors.
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills Required:
