Does Double 3 require a tablet or an iPad?

No. Double 3 is fully-integrated hardware that includes the cameras, screen, and various sensors all in one device that is easy to set up.

Which platforms can I drive from?

You can drive from a desktop web browser, such as Chrome, Firefox, or Safari, an iOS device via the Double app or Safari, or a modern Android device via Chrome. drive.doublerobotics.com

Is the video encrypted?

Yes. The Double 3 app uses the WebRTC 256-bit or 128-bit AES peer-to-peer encrypted video standard.

How long does the battery last?

The internal rechargeable Lithium Ion battery provides up to 4 hours of normal use.

How do I charge the battery and how quickly does it charge?

Double recharges to full capacity in about 2 hours, and you can drive it remotely into its Charging Dock or plug it in with the provided AC to DC wall adapter.

How much does Double weigh?

Approximately 16 lbs (7.3kg).

Does Double 3 have adjustable height control?

You can remotely adjust the height of your Double to have an eye-level conversation whether sitting or standing. The height is adjustable between 47" and 60" tall (approximately 120cm to 150cm).

What type of wireless networks does Double 3 support? Does Double 3 work over a cellular connection?

Double 3 supports most 2.4 Ghz and 5Ghz wireless networks. Double 3 currently only supports connection to the Internet over Wi-fi. If your use case requires a cellular connection, please contact us so we can help.

Will you ship to a mail forwarding service?
